Advancing Global Understanding of Emerging Health Technologies
Policy Analysis | Health Systems | International Research | 30+ Countries
Led a multi-country analysis of policy and regulatory frameworks governing emerging cell and gene therapies across 30+ countries in the Global South. Quickly developed expertise in an unfamiliar legal and regulatory domain, synthesizing complex legal, policy, and health system information into an interactive web-based platform designed to support researchers, policymakers, and health system leaders.
Impact: Expanded access to comparative policy and regulatory intelligence, supporting evidence-informed planning, research, and decision making in emerging health technologies. Developed an interactive online platform to make this intelligence readily available and easily searchable.
Improving Mental Health Care for Older Adults
Knowledge Mobilization | Team Leadership | National Partnerships
Led a national knowledge mobilization portfolio supporting implementation of seven clinical practice guidelines focused on older adult mental health. Built and led an interdisciplinary team, developed partnerships across Canada, and oversaw creation of resources designed to support healthcare providers, older adults, and caregivers.
Impact: Strengthened national implementation efforts by mobilizing evidence-informed mental health practices and resources across healthcare, community, and caregiver settings. Our flagship resource is the Behaviours in Dementia Toolkit, an online library to support caregivers of people living with dementia.
Understanding Child Health Needs Across Canada
Needs Assessment | Stakeholder Engagement | Health Services Research | 32 Hospitals
Managed a pan-Canadian, multi-method needs assessment involving 32 non-pediatric hospitals to identify priority child health needs and opportunities for service improvement. Brought together healthcare providers, researchers, and families from urban, rural, and remote communities across Canada to develop a shared understanding of challenges and inform future priorities.
Impact: Informed national child health priorities and guided evidence-informed service planning, resource development, and future research initiatives, strengthening the foundation for improved child health care across diverse healthcare settings.
Informing Provincial Early Learning Policy
Stakeholder Engagement | Policy Development | Early Learning Systems
Led province-wide stakeholder engagement across the early learning and care sector to inform policy and program improvement. Brought together educators, service providers, government representatives, and sector partners to identify shared priorities, surface diverse perspectives, and develop evidence-informed recommendations for strengthening the system.
Impact: Informed provincial policy and program decision-making through stakeholder-driven recommendations that supported a stronger, more responsive early learning and care system.
Improving Employment Supports for Disabled Youth
Lived Experience Engagement | Program Improvement | Federal Policy
Led engagement with youth with lived experience to better understand barriers, needs, and experiences related to employment supports. Created opportunities for youth voices to directly inform program design, synthesizing lived experience into practical recommendations for federal policy and service improvement.
Impact: Contributed to more responsive employment programs by integrating lived experience into federal planning, helping strengthen the accessibility and relevance of employment supports for disabled youth.
Supporting Mental Health Implementation in Post-Secondary Settings

Led the development of a web-based implementation assessment tool to help post-secondary institutions adopt national mental health standards. Collaborated with researchers, implementation experts, and sector partners to translate implementation science into a practical decision-support resource that supported organizational planning and continuous improvement.
Impact: Strengthened organizational capacity to assess implementation readiness, identify priorities, and support evidence-informed mental health initiatives aligned with national standards.
Advancing Health Equity in Rural Communities

Looking across these projects, what stands out is not the subject matter but the approach.
