I help organizations mobilize their expert knowledge so that they can implement change for social impact.
Achieving true social impact is rare. We can often identify ‘what works’ in theory, but successfully implementing change to achieve the desired impact can be a monumental challenge. It takes on average 17 years to close the ‘evidence to practice gap’ particularly within bureaucratic systems. My work focuses on expediting this process to increase social impact.
To do this, I connect people with meaningful and contextual knowledge from different sources including research, administrative data, cultural experts, and others. I support the adaptation and implementation of this knowledge in practice to transform attitudes, behaviours, practices, and systems. There are many tools at my disposal depending on the nature and context of the problem at hand, including implementation science, knowledge mobilization, education/facilitation, organizational and individual behaviour change management, communications, research/evaluation, and more.
Achieving social impact is not a solo journey. I work with interdisciplinary experts and lead high performance teams to get the job done.
